Our Mission
Our Journey
The remarkable journey of India Exposition Mart Limited is rooted in a visionary initiative to create India’s first state-of-the-art infrastructure dedicated to large-scale exhibitions and B2B trade marts. Conceptualized by Dr. Rakesh Kumar, an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in SME and export promotion, IEML was designed to revolutionize how Indian exporters connect with the world. The foundation stone for this monumental project was laid by then-Deputy Prime Minister Shri L.K. Advani, and the facility was officially inaugurated in 2006 by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Manmohan Singh.
Over the past 15 to 20 years, IEML has accumulated unparalleled operating experience in the management and organization of complex trade fairs, rapidly expanding both its physical infrastructure and its industry influence. We have continuously upgraded our facilities, adding new multi-purpose halls, skywalks to integrate different sections, and even an in-compound helipad to cater to VVIP delegations. A testament to our dedication to excellence was receiving the prestigious National Tourism Award for the best standalone convention centre for the year 2018-19. Furthermore, our journey has been marked by remarkable resilience and adaptability; in July 2020, IEML successfully ventured into the digital space by managing India’s inaugural virtual show for the exports market, drawing thousands of international buyers during a period of unprecedented global disruption.
